PINT, Inc., Announces New Online Community for Pet Lovers by Kaytee Products, Inc.

4 November 2008, Chilton, WI – Combining the rich, 140-year history of Kaytee Products, Inc. with innovative Web 2.0 features, the new website www.kaytee.com is designed to bring together people that love wild birds, pet birds, and small pets in an interactive online community.

The new site showcases galleries featuring pet photos and videos uploaded by site users. Discussion forums, an e-newsletter, and the company blog allow pet owners to learn from Kaytee nutritionists, veterinarians, behaviorists, and enthusiasts. The site also features educational resources, such as a searchable Wild Bird database, activities for kids and their pets, as well as specific information on caring for birds and small animals.

Kaytee hopes that in addition to educating and connecting owners, the site forwards the cause of avian research and conservation. Information about local rescue shelters as well as opportunities to get involved with the projects supported by the Kaytee Avian Foundation feature prominently in the new design.
