Reptiles' 15 minutes of fame

The relationship between PINT and Central Garden & Pet is a true partnership. Central selected and engaged PINT to give their company a distinctive web presence and host sites for all sixteen of their brands. Their latest site, www.zilla-rules.com, is now online.

Inspired by the unique beauty and fascination of reptiles, this site design draws on Central Garden & Pet's innovative products, and the company's new marketing platform for the brand R-Zilla. The new site's goal is to expand and evolve the reptile hobby through the development of innovative, high-quality products. Zilla is committed to providing pet habitats for all levels of hobbyist - from novice to expert - ranging from lush tropical jungles to arid desert climates, and exotic aquatic environments.

The new site delivers a better customer experience online. Developed with PINT Inc.'s Web platform, the site allows for easy editing of content and images, flexibility in maintaining and sorting data, and provides the control to implement updates to Zilla's schedule.

Focusing on their primary market of reptile enthusiasts, Central's interactive Zilla site offers polls, articles, education, and event listings that are searchable by specific areas and zip codes. The e-news center was custom designed to deliver emails based on the content or topic preferences that users most want to receive. PINT also created custom modules to compile and sort data, construct integrated forms, build a retail database for the store locator, and manage product catalogs.
