Powell Internet Consulting, LLC (PINT) announces the design and launch of two new portal sites for longtime PINT client Mundo en Linea: Tu Horóscopo and Tu Melate.

Tu Horóscopo (Your Horoscope) publishes daily horoscopes in the Spanish language, updated daily through the use of ColdFusion Markup Language, along with general astrological information. Tu Melate (Your Lottery) offers lottery information for three Mexican lottery games, including prize estimates, winning numbers, and game histories. Users can also obtain their own "lucky numbers," which are generated randomly through ColdFusion; cookies are employed to maintain each user's generated series of numbers for 24 hours. Both sites serve as gateways to Mundo en Linea (MEL), a leading Spanish-language portal based in Mexico City. PINT also researched and selected the banner agent solutions for these sites, used to generate banner ads on each page.

MEL was initially designed and implemented by PINT in 1995. PINT continues to provide MEL with consulting for business strategy and user interface design, as well as maintaining Web site monitoring and statistics analysis.
