PINT Launches Public and Private EastLake Sites

Posted:

Powell Internet Consulting, LLC (PINT) announces the redesign and relaunch of the EastLake Web site. This marks the latest stage in PINT's longstanding relationship with EastLake, a planned community south of San Diego in Chula Vista, California.

In addition to implementing a new, frames-free site layout and structure, PINT created maintenance tools that allow authorized members of the EastLake community to update events calendars, recreational information, news and other areas of the site. This site has two primary parts: a public area designed to provide information about the community, and a private, password protected area for residents to communicate and find information.

The private EastLake site includes such unique features as a form that allows residents to submit information about their home businesses, and online tee time requests for the community's golf course. A bulletin board created with Allaire Forums lets residents add their own entries for carpools, babysitting services and classified ads. All told, this is a site designed for day-to-day use in real time by real people.

The public EastLake site can be viewed at www.eastlake.net.
