PINT Selected for USD Campus Web Site Design
Posted: 05.29.03After an exhaustive selection process, the University of San Diego announced it has chosen PINT as USD's Strategic Web Development Partner. This project profiles PINT's expertise in designing and implementing large, enterprise-based Web sites and the consulting efforts that are generally required. In particular PINT's experience in the education space with extensive development work for UCSD, SDSU, and UCI will be drawn upon to help USD develop a leading campus Web site.
The institution's first emphasis will be a thorough analysis of current and future needs and redefine the USD image online for a newly designed campus Web site. As part of this first phase of discovery, PINT will meet with all stakeholders to determine requirements and specifications for the project. This includes meeting with all departments and key management to uncover both internal and external needs. From discovery PINT will design USD's site to meet the diverse needs of a campus public site from prospective student needs to current students news, and information geared towards faculty, staff, alumni, and beyond.
The timing of the project coincides with an outreach effort begun the newly appointed University President. The newly designed site will be leveraged for communications and a sense of renewal. Additionally, a capital campaign will coincide with the new site, which will be used to reach alumni and friends.
